Home Eye Tests: What to Expect
How it works
I’m a fully qualified optician, and I’ll come to your home with all the equipment needed to carry out a thorough eye examination.
If you need new glasses, you can pick from a selection of frames while I’m there, and I’ll make sure your glasses are made to your prescription and delivered straight to your door.
What will it cost?
Home eye examinations are funded by the NHS for those eligible and people over 60 who are unable to attend a high-street optician due to physical or mental health reasons.
​If you meet the eligibility criteria, the eye test is completely free, and there’s no need to contact your GP. If you’re unsure whether you or someone you care for is eligible, we’re happy to help you check quickly and easily.
